Humans that arrived on Amarra were not zealots of the new gods however but a group rather derogatorily and simply known to zealots as Defiants, a loose collection led by former diciples who saw the new gods as what they really were before going on the deep end and mostly made up of peoples who suffered at the hands of the champions of the gods. Having taken everything they needed and amused themselves with their puppeteering, New Gods just, left. Eventually Earth burned in Nuclear fire at thehands of Zealots and 99.9% of humans still living there perished. Each holy war increased piety of their followers which in turn fed the Gods.
